Nicole Koh is a soprano from Daly City, California. This summer, she performed the role of Gretel from Humperdinck’s, Hansel and Gretel as an Apprentice Artist with the Chautauqua Opera Company. Recently, Nicole sang the title role in Janáček’s, The Cunning Little Vixen with the Chautauqua Opera Conservatory under the direction of Marlena Malas and John Giampetro, and covered Winnie in Beecher’s, Sky on Swings as a young artist with Opera Saratoga.
Nicole is a graduate of the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and The University of British Columbia under the tutelage of Rhoslyn Jones and Nancy Hermiston. During her time there she sang the title role in Monterverdi’s L’incoronazione di Poppea, Papagena from Mozart’s, Die Zauberflöte and Nella from Puccini’s, Gianni Schicchi.
