Bio:

Mezzo-soprano Brennah Kemmerly makes her role debut at Opera San José with Paggio in Rigoletto. Brennah has appeared in the chorus of numerous productions with Opera San José, including the entirety of the 2022-2023 season and the upcoming Florencia en el Amazonas. Brennah has worked with various companies around the Bay Area, performing in musical theater, opera, and operetta. Some favorite credits include Major-General Stanley in The Pirates of Penzance (BayOp); Celeste in Sunday in the Park with George (LASC); A Player in A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder (SBMT); Peggy in A Taffeta Christmas (Tabard); Ginger Brooks in The 1940s Radio Hour (SJMT). Brennah graduated summa cum laude with a BFA in Musical Performance from Notre Dame de Namur University, where she performed such roles as Martha in The Secret Garden; Olive in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee; Mrs. Segstrom in A Little Night Music. Brennah participated in the Opera San José Young Artist Summer Training Program in 2016.
