Dianna Shuster returns in the 2009 - 2010 season to direct Manon. Ms. Shuster made her directing debut with the company as stage director last season with the critically acclaimed production of the Elixir of Love. Ms. Shuster, who was the former Artistic Director of American Musical Theatre of San Jose as well as the Music Theatre of Oregon, has served on the Executive Committee of the National Alliance of Musical Theatres.

Some of her favorite directing credits include Assassins, Baby, Carpetbagger's Children, Chess, City of Angels, Pacific Overtures, Phantom, Rags, and the American premiere of The Three Musketeers. Her productions have received over 70  San Francisco Bay Area Critics Circle, Robby, Drammy, Los Angeles Ovation, and DramaLogue awards.

Ms. Shuster currently serves as Executive Director of Pocket Opera.
