Box Office Assistant

Job Description:
- Part-time permanent 20-hour/week position
- Ticket sales and service; transactions on Tickets.com (Pro-Venue)
system
- Day-to-day Box Office administration
- Travel to different venues for ticket sales as directed; set up
sales computer system and printers
- Heavy patron contact via phone and in person (depending on venue)
- Work with Box Office Manager, senior executives, and Team San Jose
- Phone, fax, email, and through-the-mail correspondence
Requirements:
- M-F, 2 - 6pm; additional hours during four productions a year and as
needed including evenings
- Familiar with excel and word for importing and exporting reports
- Strong English communication skills; flexible, dependable,
courteous, able to multi-task, works well under pressure, good judgment,
team player, heavy contact from demanding customers; able to lift 50
pounds; sales and customer experience required; Box Office experience
desired; will train the right person
- Valid California Drivers License
- Must be insurable on Corporate Auto Policy
- Position will require Bonding.
