Giovanna Hutchison performs the role of Barbarina (The Marriage of Figaro) during the 2009 - 2010 season. Previously, Ms. Hutchison appeared as Giannetta (The Elixir of Love) during the 2008 - 2009 season. Other roles performed for the company include Papagena in The Magic Flute, Betty Paris (The Crucible) and the Cousin (Madama Butterfly) for the company.

Other recent performances for Ms. Hutchison include appearances with Trinity Lyric Opera in their production of The Pilgrim's Progress and a performance of Mozart's Requiem with Symphony Silicon Valley. Her musical theatre experience includes performances of Gilbert and Sullivan's Patience and Sondheim's Into the Woods.
