Join Opera San José as we kick off our 40th anniversary season with our first event of the year at the California Theatre – South First Friday Art Walk on Friday, September 1st, 2023.

We are opening the doors to the California Theatre for an evening filled with music, a sneak peek of the Romeo and Juliet rehearsal live at 7:00 pm, and other special activities!

Featuring dancers at 5:45 pm, artists from the production will perform arias starting at 6:30 pm, the lobby Wurlitzer organ player- Jerry Nagano at 7:30 pm, and ending the night with a beautiful string quartet at 8:00 pm.

Doors open at 5:30 pm
