Auditions

Auditions are announced, by invitation, to those artists who have indicated their interest by sending us a résumé, and for whom there may be suitable roles.

To audition for Opera San José, send your professional résumé and headshot to
Artistic Administration, Opera San José, 2149 Paragon Drive, San José, CA 95131-1312. Audition recordings are welcome but not required. Résumés and sound clips may be sent by email to siek@operasj.org.

Chorus Auditions: 

Auditions for paid chorus positions during the 2010 - 2011 season (Anna Karenina, Tosca, The Barber of Seville, and La bohème) have already taken place.

Supernumeraries: 

Opera San José is periodically in need of actors, martial artists, and everyday people of all ages and sizes for supernumerary roles in current and future seasons.  Audition interviews must be conducted before selections will be made.  about these featured non-singing, non-speaking roles, please contact Matt Siek at (408) 437-4456.
