Auditions

Auditions are announced, by invitation, to those artists who have indicated their interest by sending us a résumé, and for whom there may be suitable roles.

To be considered for an audition, please email your resume and headshot to siek@operasj.org. Audition recordings are welcome but not required. Once received, your materials will be reviewed and you will be contacted to schedule an audition time.

Chorus/Small Roles Auditions:

Chorus/small roles auditions for the 2012-13 season are now closed. For information regarding future auditions, please contact Matt Siek, Artistic Administrator at (408) 437-4456 or send email to siek@operasj.org.

Supernumeraries:

Opera San José is periodically in need of actors, martial artists, and everyday people of all ages and sizes for supernumerary roles in current and future seasons.  Audition interviews must be conducted before selections will be made.  about these featured non-singing, non-speaking roles, please contact Matt Siek at (408) 437-4456.
